Spoons
These are measuring spoons in various sizes, hand crafted from the pruned branches of olive trees, strawberry trees, peach, quince, offcuts of plywood and salvaged school desk wood, among other things.
The spoons are constructed in two parts in order to reduce waste and make use of narrower tree branches (that would traditionally have been burned after pruning) for the handles. The finished spoon is then treated with raw linseed oil.
Oil them occasionally (with olive oil applied with a cloth) to enliven them!
Every spoon is unique, and generally made to order. If you place an order, we will send you images of your spoon/s when finished- if you are not satisfied, there is no obligation to buy.
Depending on size, the spoons cost between 10 and 26 euros each.
