Pequena Fábrica is a company that makes things- products made with an egalitarian approach to materials. Whenever possible, these will be locally sourced, in plentiful supply, surplus or unwanted, and products will often be designed using an unwanted/excess resource as a starting point. To give an example, we have an abundance of old and damaged roof tiles outside the workshop- we are working on products made from, or incorporating, these.
Pequena fábrica is located just outside Tábua in Central Portugal, and has been ‘manufacturing product’ since the tail end of 2024.
